A Changing Environment
As corporations adapt to a more collaborative 21st century business model, financial officers are asked to assume broader roles. This seminar prepares the financial professional to take an active part in mergers and acquisitions and become a key player in deal making. Topics include curveballs in deals, cash flow in deal making, determining the fair price of an acquisition, and business integration. Participants will learn how to close deals and when to walk away from bad deals. They'll also explore the San Francisco Financial District, negotiate dealmaking exercises, and participate in a roundtable discussion with experts from the Berkeley Research Group.
